  The International Conference of Management and Industrial Engineering ICMIE is organised by the Industrial Management Chair of the Politehnica University of Bucharest.
  The conference is open for all those interested in current and future issues in management and industrial engineering, and continues the tradition of the Industrial Management Chair from Politehnica University of Bucharest to organise high quality scientific events involving well-known scholars and personalities.
  The ICMIE 2009 theme is "Management in the worldwide contemporary challenges".

The trip will take place on Saturday, 7^th November. The fee is around 18 EUR for bus transportation only (entrance in the two museums and lunch is not included). Please inform us if you would like to participate when completing the online registration form.


DEADLINES

- February 2^nd – Abstract submission EXTENDED until February 20^th
- February 25^th – Notification of abstract's acceptance
- June 15^th – Paper submission
- June 30^th – Notification of acceptance/revision/rejection
- July 10^th – Final paper submission after revision
- July 15^th – Final notification of acceptance/rejection
- July 15^th - July 30^th – Participation registration (each participant must fill the
                                      fields in the online registration form and send us the
                                      message with all the requested details completed)

The papers that do not fully comply with the editing instructions will not be published.

CONFERENCE FEE

- Before July 30^th: 75 EUR /participant
- After July 30^th but no later than August 31^st: 100 EUR /participant

- One participant can be the first author on a maximum of 2 papers. The same participant can be on a third paper, but only as co-author (in the second or third position).
- Accepted papers will be published in the Scientific Bulletin of Politehnica University of Bucharest, Journal category B+.

Entrance Visa

As Romania is a part of European Union, for participants from most of the European countries and USA there is no need for an entrance visa. If you have any questions please contact the Romanian Consulate in your country in order to obtain more information.
